OttoXLight-SPI is a version of our basic interrogator suitable for modular applications.
Thanks to its SPI interface it is possible to connect several modules to a single controller such as the Embedded Real Time system CompactRIO™ by National Instruments.
Optical and acquisition specifications are the same as for the USB version.

OPTICAL SWITCH
OttoXLight-Switch1x4 is part of our OTTOXLIGHT SYSTEM for FBG sensing applications. Ask for all the available options!
SWITCH 1x4 is our 4 channels optical switch module to be operated with the OttoXLight-USB Interrogator;
the interrogator is the master unit, powering and driving the slave swich unit.
The application software provides with an easy way to program the timing as well as the scanning sequence through the switch channels.

QP-FBG sensor is a very lightweight and highly flexible sensor in a composite material package developed by the Aerospace Engineering Department of Politecnico di MIlano.
It has been optimized for embedding in composite structures for aerospace applications, but it offers excellent performance even in case of surface bonding for deformation and/or vibration detection.

LG-FBG sensor is a long gauge sensors for civil structural monitoring.
It is available for wall mount and for embedding in concrete.
It is provided with a pre-loading system which allows the FBG sensor to work in elongation and shortening, so to detect both tensile and compressing strain or bidirectional displacement.
