The Team: a short presentation of ourselves...
The Celm-Sistemi R&D group is composed by 3 engineers and a physician. We are (in alphabetic order):
Claudio: the "physicist". A long career as a researcher, expert of optics and electronics.
Franco: optical devices and applications.
Paolo: fiber optic systems and software development.
Roberto: digital electronics and firmware development.
Expertise
We are involved in the study and use of fiber optics and fiber optic sensors since the beginning of the FBG era... we can be considered pioneers in the diffusion of this technology!During our career we have been part of many research projects and we have matured the experience that now allows us to work side by side with our customers to guide them to approach the exciting world of fiber optic sensors.
Our aim is to establish a trusting relationship with our customers, who can find in our team specialized resources to co-design their applications.

Some strategic alliances give strength to our capability to offer qualified service.OptoI is much more that a commercial partner: we actively cooperate in optoelectronic design, customer support and application development.
A consolidated interaction with the Aerospace Engineering Department of Politecnico di Milano allows us to introduce our technology in one the most scientifically and technologically advanced environment, and to take part to several projects involving last generation composite materials and smart structures for aerospace.
